Yes, you can now eat emojis

You’ve probably never used an emoji and thought to yourself, “Wow, that looks delicious.” However, after seeing genius Dominique Ansel’s newest creation, it’s all you’ll be able to think about. The creator of the cronut is at it again, with a sweet bread called melonpan that looks exactly like the heart-eyes emoji.

According to Eater, melonpan is brioche-type bun that’s then covered in a thin layer of cookie-like dough. That on its own sounds perfect, but at Dominique Ansel Japan, they’ve taken it to the next level. Their creation features hearts as eyes and sprinkles for blush, perfectly replicating our favorite face. It’s so adorable we almost don’t want to eat it. Almost.

So far, this is the only emoji they’ve crafted, but we can think of plenty of others that would be equally delicious. And, you know, some that definitely would not.
