Disney put a hilarious Easter Egg in the ‘Frozen’ credits
A genius Sherlock Holmes-type over at Sugarscape recently alerted us to an epic Easter Egg hidden in the credits of Frozen, and it’s hilarious. Admittedly, it can be really hard to get through Frozen’s credits because it means resisting to the urge to rewinding to “Let It Go” again. Now, it’s clear that holding off on the belting (for an extra minute) is totally worth it.
Remember the part in the movie when Kristoff shocks Anna by informing her that all men eat their boogers? It’s his solid steel argument for why you shouldn’t get engaged to a dude you just met – pretty much every single viewer made a mental note… in all caps.
Well, Disney included a tiny homage to this hilarious line near the end of the film’s credits. The hidden message mimics legal jargon and makes it clear that Kristoff’s opinions on male booger-consumption are his and his alone.
“The views and opinions expressed by Kristoff in the film that all men eat their own boogers are solely his own and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of The Walt Disney Company or the filmmakers. Neither The Walt Disney Company nor the filmmakers make any representation of the accuracy of any such views and opinions.”
What a gem!
Frozen fans have discovered many other Easter Eggs in the beloved movie. Have you ever noticed that Rapunzel and Flynn Rider make cameos at Elsa’s coronation?
Or that Anna gobbles up some candy that looks like it’s from Wreck It Ralph?
Or that, apparently, if you squint really (really) hard there are Mickey Mouses hidden in the castle during “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” …
… And in Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post?
Yeah, I would’ve never caught those either. Thank goodness for the talented detectives of the Internet! Now, pardon me while I go “check for more Easter Eggs” in all my favorite Disney movies for the rest of the week.
