How to get your hands on a Starbucks PSL before it’s even out
September is here, which means—let’s face it—it’s fall. I know, I know the season doesn’t officially start until the autumnal equinox, but there’s another marker of autumn and it’s almost here. That would be the arrival of Starbucks’ signature Pumpkin Spice Latte. The official launch date for the coffee drink with a cult following is September 8th, but that’s four whole days away. That’s four whole days of mourning the end of summer without the comforting goodness of fall’s best drink to make it all OK.
Well, we have good news. There’s a sneaky way to get your hands on a PSL early.
Head over to TheRealPSL.tumblr.com/fanpass, where you will be asked for a super secret password. And that password is: pumpkin. Obviously. Show the fan pass to a barista, and you’ll be sipping a latte before you can say, “Goodbye, summer!” There is one catch. You need to visit the site from your mobile device, or enter your phone number so the PSL pass can be texted to you.
