Gabrielle Union-Wade has been embracing her natural texture lately and we are loving it. While she’s known for sleek looks when playing Mary Jane on Being Mary Jane, her red carpet style is where she loves to experiment.
Founder of new textured hair-friendly brand Flawless Hair, Gabrielle Union-Wade hit the CFDA Awards red carpet in a sequin duster, sheer turtleneck, cropped trousers, and a headful of glorious curls.
When Entertainment Tonight asked Dwyane what he thought of his wife’s look, he gushed over her Rodarte ensemble and just how much he’s loving her big natural hair moment.
"It's everything. It's the hair, it's the big hair. You know my wife don't normally go for the big hair. She's been doing it lately, so you know it's the whole thing. I love, like she said, I love the jacket as well. It's chic, you know. She looks relaxed, but it's still sexy. I like it!"
Shout out to guys like D-Wade and Usher who are vocal about their love for natural hair. With so many stigmas surrounding natural hair, and recent studies showing bias against women with natural hair, we appreciate the love.
