Dwayne Johnson thanked paramedics in an Insta post after his daughter suffered a scary medical emergency

Emergencies involving your kids are terrifying — no matter who you are. And Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson thanked emergency professionals through Instagram last night after his daughter, two-year-old Jasmine, had a scary medical situation.

Johnson, who currently holds the title as the highest paid actor in Hollywood, said thank you to multiple medical and emergency workers who saved the day this weekend, including the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the UCLA medical team, and the 911 operator who Johnson credited as being “extremely calm” during the initial call. In the video, Johnson is in the gym, fresh from a workout.

While he didn’t get into detail about what happened, what we do know sounds scary. Johnson noted that he and his family were up all night in the emergency room. But thankfully, he reiterated that “she’s okay now.”

The actor also gave some top notch advice to other parents who may also need to act quickly in an emergency situation.

"I just highly recommend that you stay as calm and as focused as possible," he said, noting that kids take their cues from adults in emergency situations.

Johnson also made sure that his gratitude towards the men and women who helped out spilled over into his Instagram caption.

"We're grateful to you all and if you ever need anything, I got your back," he promised.

Jasmine was born in December of 2015. She’s Johnson’s second daughter, but his first with wife Lauren Hashian. His first child, Simone, is currently a teenager and was given the honor of being the 2018 Golden Globe Ambassador this year. This past December, he announced that a third daughter was on the way in a too-cute photo which featured Jasmine posing by the Christmas tree.

We’re so glad that everything’s okay, and hope Jasmine is feeling a lot better!
