This Dustin-inspired eyeshadow art is the *strangest thing* you’ll see all day
The creativity that abounds in the beauty community will never cease to amaze us — not a day goes by when we don’t see a beautiful, creative, and unique look that blows our minds.
The latest to knock our socks off is a makeup artist called @drownthecityy who created Dustin from Stranger Things as eyeshadow art.
While it might be a bit bizarre to draw a child on one’s eyelid, you can’t deny how artfully it was done. It really does look like Gaten Matarazzo. It’s uncanny how closely this eyelid art resembles the real deal.
Alabama-based makeup artist @drownthecityy is no stranger to eclectic eyelid art. She often recreates some of your favorite characters on her lids. From Sally of The Nightmare Before Christmas fame to Tina Belcher, she really has done it all.
She really captured Dustin’s mischievous nature, didn’t she? Now, all we need is for her to give us some Dart lid looks, and we will be all set. But for those of you who are itching to try this look out for yourself, @drownthecityy breaks down exactly what she used to create her look.
You probably have everything you need to create a Dustin from Stranger Things lid look in your makeup drawer.
Isn’t it a trip?
Here’s the breakdown of products: She used Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Trooper and then used shades from Morphe’s 35B and 350 Palettes. She also used Star Crushed Minerals White Lightning shadow and added lashes from Glow’d Up Cosmetics and got those brows in shape with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Granite.
What do you think? Will you be giving this wild look a shot soon? At the very least, we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
