Dunkin’ Donuts sushi is a thing that exists, because the Internet is the best

Soooo the Internet has introduced us to something we need to share with you, because we care about you and your access to really important topics. Like donuts.

Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada at NoVe Kitchen and Bar in Miami created a sushi roll made out of Dunkin’ Donuts, and not surprisingly, he was really happy with the way it tasted. Because why wouldn’t he be? Donuts are pretty likable.

The donut sushi is made by slicing donuts in half, removing the filling, layering the insides with slices of other donuts, rolling them together like a sushi roll, slicing the roll into sushi and topping it with filling. Because sushi chefs know how to do things right.

The results are really impressive. Dunkin’ Donuts doesn’t offer the donut sushi yet, and neither does any sushi restaurant—as far as we know. But maybe this is the start of something new (we’re looking at you, Dunkin’ and all sushi restaurants everywhere).

This video demonstrates the donut sushi-making process, and will likely leave you wanting a donut or 12:
