Dunkin’ Donuts newest announcement will make our coffee run *so* much faster
When you realize it’s time for a coffee run, you want your coffee now. Taking 75% away from the hassle of getting coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts just released a new mobile app that let’s you order your coffee ahead of time. No more waiting in line; just COFFEE.
If this sounds like something you’ve been waiting for your whole life, it’s finally here. Dunkin’ Donuts’ new app — literally called, New Dunkin’ Donuts — includes a new ~fancy~ button to order ahead. Sure, other food chains have order ahead capability on their mobile apps, but can you do it a full 24 hours in advance? Because you know when you get into work at 9 a.m. on Monday, you’re already going to want coffee at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, right? You can now plan that out in ahead of time.
“With On-the-Go Ordering, DD Perks members can place a mobile order up to 24 hours in advance, select their desired location, and then simply confirm via the new Dunkin’ Donuts Mobile App when they are ready to pick up their order inside the restaurant, or at the drive-thru,” Dunkin’ Donuts explained in a press release. “In the restaurant, DD Perks Members have no need to wait, as they can skip the line in store and go straight to pick up their items at a designated area.”
This is too good to be true. You can also order just about everything* on the app, from coffee, to iced coffee, donuts, bagels, munchkins, hashbrowns, everything.
*Except that there doesn’t seem to be a way to order my current Dunkin’ bae, iced coffee with pistachio. It’s possible that not ALL seasonal flavors are listed on the app.
