Drew Barrymore shared the sweetest message about her friendship with Cameron Diaz

Everyone needs a ride-or-die bestie, including celebrities! So it should be no surprise that on-screen co-stars — Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz — are actually BFFs IRL.

And like any good friend, Drew gushes about Cameron on the regular. Most recently, she posted a photo of the two of them hanging out on Instagram, along with a seriously sweet note.

In the Instagram post, Drew writes about how important it is to make time for friends, and we can’t cosign that statement enough.

The celebs, who are two years apart, starred in Charlie’s Angels together in 2000. They worked together again in 2003, for the film’s sequel, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.

In the Instagram caption, Drew writes that Cameron has always made her feel “beyond beautiful”:

And while that’s high praise for a friendship, Drew goes on.

“Thank god for your friends,” she says. “They rejuvenate and confirm everything.”

Everyone can use a reminder from time to time to stop and feel gratitude for the blessings you’ve been handed. The sentiment is especially poignant coming from a celebrity — proving that no matter who you are and how successful you’ve been, loving your friends is of the utmost importance.

That’s not all: Cameron has shared plenty of love for her friend on Instagram as well. When Drew published her book Find It In Everything, Cameron posted a photo on Instagram, saying:

“I am so proud of my dear sweet beautiful friend @drewbarrymore for spreading, finding, sharing and inspiring SO much love in the world.”
