Here’s the one Drew Barrymore movie Drew Barrymore doesn’t really love
It’s hard to imagine disliking anything Drew Barrymore does. She’s an actress, model, author, humanitarian and beauty guru. But alas, there will always be a project from your past you wish you could go back and change.
Drew recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live and bravely participated in everybody’s favorite talk show segment, Plead the Fifth. In the recurring bit, Andy asks his guest three questions. The guest is allowed to plead the fifth—aka refuse to answer—on just one of the questions. If you’re a champ (ahem, like Meryl Streep) you’ll answer all three, but nobody will fault you for opting out of one. Naturally, Drew totally owned it and tackled all three questions with grace.
Through the years, Plead the Fifth has revealed some of Hollywood’s juiciest and most hilarious secrets. Andy asked Drew about that time she didn’t return Christian Bale’s call for a second date, and asked her to describe funnyman ex-husband Tom Green. But first, he asked her to name one of her films that looking back on, she’s just kinda meh about.
“I wish that film Bad Girls was more bad,” Drew confessed. “I was like, ‘Let’s be like, dudes! But like, women. But dudes.’”
Drew is referencing her 1994 female Western film. In Bad Girls she co-stars with Madeleine Stowe, Mary Stuart Masterson and Andie MacDowell, a group of ladies on the run from detectives. Though it might not be her favorite film, Drew was quick to defend the film’s director, Jonathan Kaplan, calling him “wonderful.”
