Drew Barrymore and Ellen DeGeneres played “Heads Up” in big fluffy princess dresses, and it’s a sight to behold

Just yesterday, we heard all about Drew Barrymore’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where she discussed how she was navigating through a divorce with her two little girls, Frankie and Olive. But we didn’t know about the segment where Drew Barrymore and Ellen DeGeneres dressed up as princesses to play a game, in honor of Frankie and Olive. What can you say? When you’re a young girl, princesses are often everything.

The game was called “Heads Up!” and it focused around acting out a phrase or word. The other princess — we mean, contestant — has to guess what it is. It sounds like a blast, and is likely even more fun while dressed up.

"You think this is a joke, this is my daily life," Barrymore said after a polite curtsy.

Personally, the whole thing is giving us a few vibes of Barrymore waiting around in her pink prom dress from Never Been Kissed. (Just us? That’s cool.)

Who knew that things could be so much funnier with a little bit of tulle?

Barrymore also proved that she’d pretty much do anything it took to secure a win.

That might be the best “snow angel” we’ve ever seen.

Of course, we also can’t forget about Barrymore’s “roll over,” which was right on target. Unfortunately, DeGeneres had no clue what she was doing, or that “roll over” could even be considered an action. (Someone in the writer’s room likely disagreed.)

Barrymore wasn’t a natural when it came to guessing the actions of DeGeneres (to be fair, her words were much harder) but her clever guesses were incredibly funny. Even though she knew that the sexy crawl that DeGeneres was doing probably wasn’t “Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin,’” she still gave it a shot and made us laugh.

This game definitely makes us want to dress up like pretty pretty princesses, for sure.
