A ‘Drake & Josh’ reunion is happening and we can’t contain our happy feels

Nickelodeon can totally sense we’re feeling all kinds of ’90s nostalgia. Which is probably why the network is releasing a program that’s entirely comprised of old ’90s animated and live action hits (aka, The Splat). And also why they’re bringing Hey Arnold! back. And that’s not all —today it was announced that there will be a Drake and Josh reunion. Alert all twenty-something millennials in your life, like RIGHTNOW.

According to MTV News, the pair will reunite on an upcoming episode of Grandfathered in which Josh Peck is a series regular. Drake Bell is set to guest star in an upcoming episode on the freshman Fox comedy.

Bell is set to play “Kirk,” a “flashy tech investor whom Gerald (Peck) and Vanessa (Christina Milian) are desperate to meet up with to pitch their new app.” When the two characters meet up with Kirk, they quickly realize that he’s not a good fit for the job at hand, and hilarity ensues.

With a reunion of this level, it doesn’t really matter what exactly happens in the episode — just as long as the fans get what they want. This of course means, their trademark awkward group hug, right? “Hug me, brotha!” I’m counting down the hours.
