Drake clapped back against a fan who claimed his teeth didn’t look clean
One of the tough parts about being in the spotlight is the fact that you’re opening yourself up to criticism. Even if you (wrongfully) assume that celebrities are immune to online bullying, it’s important to remember that they’re still human — and they still read the comments that are being made about them. After posting a photo on Instagram, Drake dealt with a comment stating his teeth didn’t look clean. And it’s so ridiculous that he had to answer back.
Drake, who’s on Instagram under the handle “champagnepapi,” posted a photo of him and his friends enjoying the night out. In it, he looks genuinely happy. Not only is he smiling proud, but it looks like someone just cracked a pretty funny joke.
Now, in case you’re not familiar with what’s happening in Drake’s mouth, the singer has diamonds in his teeth. Tatiana Siegel from The Hollywood Reporter noticed them back in November during an interview. In the midst of a discussion about the Harry Potter book series, Siegel wrote that she spotted “two tiny diamonds glinting from his front teeth as he breaks into a wide smile.” Drake’s Instagram clapback pretty much confirms that he’s had the work done, and as he should be, he’s proud of his teeth.
Here’s the photo that sparked the mean comment:
And here’s how Drake responded:
We have a feeling that sales of activated charcoal toothpaste have probably risen. It’s strange that he’d get a comment attempting to insult his teeth, as they look amazing.
Even better, Drake’s great reply may have gotten him free charcoal toothpaste for quite some time.
While internet negativity is something we’re really not fond of, we’re pretty glad that Drake got a chance to stand up for himself and his one-of-a-kind, diamond smile.
