Drake Bell opened up about how he felt when he didn’t get an invite to Josh Peck’s wedding, which until now he’d only tweeted — then deleted — about. Bell’s silence could be at the heart of the fallen friendship, because according to Us Weekly, Bell didn’t send childhood costar Peck a text after the latter got engaged. Talk about a deafening silence! Talk about ghosting!

Drake & Josh star Josh Peck recently got married, but the world was shaken to its core when people discovered that costar Drake Bell wasn’t invited to the nuptials. Bell tweeted some emo messages about the end of the best friendship of the aughts, saying things like, “True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.”
At a certain point, John Stamos got involved in the wedding beef by throwing shade at Bell. (Way to kick him when he’s down, Stamos!)
Since the controversial wedding, Peck has opened up about his noticeably absent wedding guest, while Bell has remained quiet — until now.
Bell told People, “I was caught off guard. I hadn’t heard of anything about it.There are no hard feelings.” Really, Drake? You don’t have to be so strong! He then cracked his outer shell a little bit to say,

And that’s it. Wow, this is even worse than we’d thought! While Peck had said that he and Bell hadn’t spoken in three years, Bell is making this wedding snub sound like a much deeper cut. Seriously…they were brothas.
Bell also spoke about how surprised he was at the sizable reaction to his emo tweets. He said, “I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. I did not realize that it was going to have such a viral effect…That’s my bro you know?”
Clearly, he underestimates the emotional connection that Drake & Josh viewers have with the classic show. When Bell tweeted, “Loyalty is key” and “ALWAYS remember where you came from,” how could we not feel heartbroken for him?
