There’s a rumor Dr. Bailey from “Grey’s Anatomy” might die, and we’re already crying
Even if you don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy, chances are you’re familiar with the character of Dr. Miranda Bailey. Her portrayer, Chandra Wilson, is one of just four original cast members still on the show, and Dr. Bailey is a fan favorite. That’s why a promo for an upcoming episode has left fans utterly distraught.
The sneak peek for Season 14, Episode 11 appears to show Dr. Bailey having a heart attack. We know, we’re just as upset as you are. But at this point in the show’s run, viewers know to expect the unexpected. Beloved cast members leave Grey’s Anatomy all the time. The show kind of has a reputation of being unafraid to kill off characters in ways you never would’ve seen coming. We still haven’t gotten over McDreamy’s exit, and we never will.
So, yeah, if Dr. Bailey goes, it’ll tear us apart. We know the show’s likely sticking around for at least a couple more seasons. The show will go on, as it always has, but will our hearts ever recover? Fans are already threatening to quit and never look back if Dr. Bailey perishes.
That said, this is a show that breaks hearts often but still retains a dedicated fan base. Dr. Bailey dying wouldn’t end the series, but it would potentially be the saddest death in the show’s history.

There’s a lot of emotion being directed at Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes. But as queen of the Shondaland empire, she’s more than immune to our pleading.
