What’s happening this Friday? The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 is opening, and don’t you forget it. What’s happening today? Well we’re full-time watching Doug the Pug in his very own Hunger Games aka The Hungry Games.

The Hungry Games stars handsome Doug the Pug as Pugness Everdeen, acting with his co-star the talented ‘Pizza Mellark’ (spoiler alert: an actual pizza). Doug sports a beautiful flowing braided wig, and the pizza sports half cheese half pepperoni. The pull between the two characters is palpable.

If you’re thinking, “My goodness, the dog actor playing Pugness Everdeen looks incredibly familiar,” then right you are. Doug the Pug has also starred in some of our old favorites like a slew of Disney reboots and a particularly soulful re-imagining of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
