Not okay: Donald Trump’s comments about 12-year-old Paris Hilton
Sorry to ruin your weekend, but we’re freaking out: Apparently, Donald Trump thought that Paris Hilton was hot — when she was 12. Like, dude. Not okay. Not even close to okay. The comments were a part of an old Howard Stern interview with Donald Trump that recently resurfaced, and was brought to our attention by The Huffington Post.
When asked about women he thought was attractive (already awesome, right?), Trump mentioned Hilton, who was 12 at the time.
TWELVE, YOU GUYS.
Hilton, who was a friend of his daughter Ivanka’s, apparently piqued Trump’s interest despite being a pre-teen. It’s seriously about as effed up as it gets, other than that time Trump blamed women who are sexually harassed for their own harassment, or that time he said Hillary Clinton just wasn’t attractive enough to be president.
“Now, somebody who a lot of people don’t give credit to but in actuality is really beautiful is Paris Hilton, he said. “I’ve known Paris Hilton from the time she’s 12, her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’
Because there’s nothing tragically wrong with grown men asking after 12 year old girls, right? In case you don’t pick up on the sarcasm: NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS OKAY.
In the interview, Stern followed up, asking,
“Did you wanna bang her?
I’m sorry, what the heck kind of question is that, anyway? Ugh, this is so vomit-inducing.
“Well, at 12, I wasn’t interested, Trump said, “I’ve never been into that ... but she was beautiful.
GROSS GROSS GROSS GROSS GROSS. Sorry, there’s just no good way to respond to this, other than a whole slew of gagging and anger and rage. She. Was. Twelve. He was a grown man. Nothing about this is even close to acceptable, but, are we surprised? We are, of course, talking about the guy who said he’d date his daughter.
