Donald Trump has been nominated for an unexpected—but extremely fitting—award

Today in weird—and weirdly fitting—news‚ Donald Trump has officially been nominated for a Razzie. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Raspberry Awards (The Razzies) are an annual awards show that “honor” the worst movies and performances of the year. Trump made the list for Worst Actor in a movie because he technically appeared in two documentaries this past year. The nominations are for his appearances as himself in both Dinesh D’Souza’s Death of a Nation and Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9, and also for Worst Screen Combo (the “combo” being himself and “His Self Perpetuating Pettiness”). Melania Trump and Kellyanne Conway are nominated in the Supporting Actress category for Fahrenheit 11/9 as well.

In 2004, George W. Bush won the Worst Actor award for appearing as himself in Fahrenheit 9/11, so it stands to reason that Trump could go home a “winner” this year.
