Donald Trump Jr. responded to Jennifer Lawrence’s remark about his dad, and your blood will boil

Last week during an interview with Oprah Winfrey for The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence revealed what she’d do if she ever got a chance to speak her mind to Donald Trump. So what would the actress tell the president? “I’ve got a pretty good speech. And it ends with a martini to the face,” Lawrence said with a laugh. Like most people, we chuckled when we read the quote.

Unfortunately, not all people have a sense of humor, including Donald Trump Jr. who retweeted an article with Lawrence’s martini quote and wrote, “I’m pretty sure that’s not how it will end…”

This is infuriating, because regardless of what Trump Jr. meant by that, his followers interpreted “how it will end” as wishful ideation about some sort of violent altercation between Lawrence and the secret service.

“I’m pretty sure this would end up with her face down in handcuffs,” one Twitter user wrote.

“A martini to the face would end with her slammed to the floor and handcuffed by secret service!!!! Would love to see it,” someone else tweeted.

So Lawrence is threatening something that The Real Housewives do every episode and Trump’s base is hoping she is met with a physically violent arrest.

"I've got a pretty good speech. And it ends with a martini to the face." Lawrence told Oprah. "I have something to say for all of them. I watch different characters on the news, and I'm like, 'You just wait.'"

"I'll give you a hint — it's not nice," Lawrence revealed about the contents of her speech. "You wouldn't want me to say it to you."
