It looks like Trump snubbed the Clintons at George H. W. Bush’s funeral, and Twitter is on fire

On December 5th, past presidents and government officials gathered for the funeral of former president George H.W. Bush. Pictures soon began circulating of former first couples Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter sitting in a row. But when current president Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump joined, things got awkward—fast.

It appears as though Trump snubbed the Clintons.

See it? Trump greeted the Obamas as he took his seat, but very clearly did not acknowledge either of the Clintons. CNN notes that all current and former presidents and their spouses are required to sit together during the funerals of former presidents, and they also reported that Trump has spoken to neither the Obamas nor the Clintons since his inauguration in January 2017.

Twitter users noticed the moment…and they had thoughts.

Some pointed out that even Carter looked displeased.
