You can now get Domino’s pizza delivered to the beach, a park, and other “hotspots,” just in time for summer

If you’ve ever been at the beach and thought, “The only thing that would make this day better is pizza,” don’t fear — your time is here. Domino’s pizza now delivers to certain “hotspot” locations, so there are all kinds of public spots (that don’t have specific street addresses) where you can have your Domino’s pizza delivered anytime you’re craving it.

In a press release via Reuters, the pizza chain announced it has added more than 150,000 delivery destinations to its online ordering database, such as national parks and spots on the beach, meaning that you’ll now be able to order Domino’s pizza to wherever you are, even if you don’t know the exact address.

These new delivery locations are called “hotspots,” and all you have to do is drop a pin on the correct drop-off location when you order on the Domino’s app or website — you just have to make sure you have location services turned on.

Yes, this is real. No, you are not dreaming. The Domino’s pizza possibilities are now limitless.

This could be done before by phone, of course — you could call and ask Domino’s to deliver to wherever you are, and in most cases, they’d be able to do it. But now, this feature is available online, which is good news for all of us who truly hate making a phone call, even in the most hungry of circumstances.

Once you pick your pizza and your location, you can choose to describe yourself to the delivery driver so they’ll have an easier time finding you. Then, Domino’s can send you delivery updates via text message straight to your phone, so you’ll have a real-time pizza countdown. This is very important, because when you’re starving, every second counts.

This summer is going to give us plenty of opportunities to test this feature out, and we can’t wait. Pizza anywhere, anytime? It is truly the future. This just made our lives so much easier.
