TBH, this dog wedding was better than most human weddings
It was one of New York’s poshest weddings. The bride wore a custom-made gown from Marchesa. The happy couple registered at Zola. Their guest list read like a who’s who of celebrities. The ceremony took place at Manhattan’s famous Highline Hotel. And oh yeah, did we mention that the bride and groom were dogs?
Toast, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Finn, a Chihuahua/dachshund mix, are Instagram celebrities. Seriously, they are pretty big deals. Toast, a puppy mill rescue dog with nearly 340,000 followers, belongs to human IG stars The Fat Jewish and publicist Katie Sturino. Toast’s pet parent is Amanda Hearst, heiress/model/activist and founder of Friends of Finn, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending puppy mills. The two adorable dogs met at a Friends of Finn fundraiser in the Hamptons (how very Sex & the City of them). So of course you’d expect their wedding to be the stuff of fairy tales. And guys, it did NOT disappoint. Toast was a vision in her Marchesa gown. In mean, just look at her.
And of course Finn was quite handsome in his top hat and tails. (So handsome that on one of her IG captions, Toast said “how hot is Finn?!” Adorbs.)
And you just know there were a bevy of doggy bridesmaids. One of them was even Baby, who belongs to Carole Radziwill of Real Housewives of New York.
In fact, you’ll be able to watch the wedding on an upcoming episode of Real Housewives. But in the meantime, you can get a good feel for the magic of the day in the video montage below:
Congratulations, Toast and Finn! With their shared devotion to ending the inhumane treatment of dogs in puppy mills, these two sweethearts are clearly a match made in heaven.
