A friendly dog just saved this adorable puppy’s life and we’re not crying, you’re crying

A dog saved a puppy’s life, and can’t we all just get along?
A tiny puppy in Dublin, Ireland was left for dead in a pile of trash. According to a Facebook post by the Dublin SPCA, the puppy, now named Autumn, was just lying there all alone when Poppy, a super friendly and incredibly clever dog, found her.
"Autumn is only seven to ten days old and would not have lasted probably even 24 hours if she had not been spotted by a very clever terrier called Poppy who when out for a walk with her owner ran over to the rubbish pile and refused to return when called," the DSPCA wrote.
Because Poppy just knew.
"Poppy's owner had to walk over to see what poppy was sniffing when she discovered little Autumn just lying there in the rubbish," the post continued. "Autumn will now go to an experienced foster home and hopefully will grow up to be a happy healthy dog all thanks to Poppy and her vigilant owner."
It’s heartbreaking when defenseless animals are abandoned in such a terrible way, but we’re so happy little Autumn was found and is now safe. She’s definitely lucky to be alive.
The post added, "We have no idea why this little pup was abandoned in the way she was but we know it is a miracle she is alive."
We hope Autumn finds the perfect family to love her forever. We also hope that sweet Poppy is rewarded with lots of treats and endless walks.
