‘Doctor Who’ is back and he’s bringing Maisie Williams along, too

Doctor Who starts up on September 19 (or, as the BBC wants to say, 19 September) so it’s about time we got a trailer for the new season; it’s only a month away! So what does the new season look like? Four words for you guy: So much Maisie Williams.

Yes, yes, Williams just joins in the fun for a bit, but we’re excited to see her in action. The real focal point of the show is, of course, the Doctor and his fearless companion, Clara. BOTH are back for way more adventure, and this new one-minute trailer gives us a quick peak as exactly where they’re gonna go, who they’re gonna save, and what evil they’re gonna come up against.

First thing? Missy (formerly known as The Master). Though it was thought she died at the end of Season 8, she is clearly back for more mayhem, along with those pesky Daleks. Good thing Clara has a rocket launcher (??!!) just in case the Doctor has a bit of trouble saving the world this time. But he’ll eventually figure out some master plan, right? Right. Clara believes that, and so do we.

The BBC also released an awesome new poster for the season, too. Ready to cram back into the Tardis again? There’s room for everyone.
