This DIY tulle wreath makes the raddest fall decoration

I’m more than a little obsessed with making decorations for my walls. From holiday garlands to framed embroidery, there’s nothing I won’t try to DIY. And still feeling as autumn-y (that’s a word, right?) as I do, I decided that this week was the perfect time to craft some wall art for fall.

These super easy instructions help you make a pretty little wreath bursting with the colors of autumn. The process itself is simple; cutting and tying the tulle is the most time-consuming part. Just pop on the Netflix and you’ll have a cute wreath in no time!

Materials:

  • 8-inch foam ring
  • Red and orange tulle
  • Wide gold ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Craft glue

Craft away:

Glue one end of the ribbon to the foam ring. Wrap the ribbon around the ring, gluing as needed to hold it in place. Try to cover the foam completely. Let the glue dry.

Cut the tulle into 1 inch wide strips, long enough to fold in half and double-knot around the ring.

Tie the strips around the ring, alternating colors. Continue all the way around the ring.

Trim the tulle down as needed.

Display your pretty wreath on your door or a wall in need of some extra sparkle!
