These DIY donut bath bombs look so real you’ll be hungry when you use them

Finally the two best things about baths have come together: donuts and bath bombs. Okay, most of us don’t *usually* eat donuts in the bathtub, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t thought about it or haven’t been waiting for this exact moment.

These donut bath bombs might be the cutest things you can actually make at home. Using the typical bath bomb material such as citric acid and epsom salt, you can create a snack food relaxation paradise. With a silicone donut mold, eco-glitter, and soap base, you get to decorate your spa donuts any way you want. Get a cute little donut box and give them out by the dozens. Just remind yourself and your friends that they’re not food, because they definitely look good enough to eat. Watch the video and find the recipe below.

DIY Donut Bath Bombs

1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup epsom salt
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
1/2 tsp. essential oil (for scent)
1-2 Tbsp. water
Spray bottle
Silicone donut mold
1/2 lb. White soap base
Biodegradable eco-glitter

1. Add the dry ingredients to a large bowl: baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, epsom salt, cinnamon, and ginger. Stir until combined.
2. Add the coconut oil and essential oil. Stir to combine. You can also stir with your hands.
3. Add water gradually with a spray bottle until the mixture sticks together.
4. Scoop the mixture into the silicone mold and pack it down. Let dry overnight.
5. Carefully remove the bath bomb from the mold.
6. Chop the white soap base into cubes and microwave for 1 minute or until melted.
7. Dip the donuts into the melted white soap, and add the eco-glitter before the soap dries. Keep stirring the melted soap so a film does not form on the top.
