Good dogs can now stay at select Disney World hotels, and it’s time to book a vacation with your four-legged best friend

Have you ever booked a vacation and thought, “Wow, I wish my dog could come with me?” Same. So here’s some good news for all doggo and pupper enthusiasts out there: Starting this weekend at select Walt Disney World resort hotels, your four-legged best friend can come with you.

Disney World has always accepted service animals into their resorts, but now all dogs can check in for a magical stay at the happiest place on Earth. Four hotels — Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground — will allow you to bring your dog with you, in what is sure to soon be their favorite vacation destination.

Here’s what you need to know before you start excitedly packing a dog-sized suitcase: To bring your pet along, there’s an additional $50 a night pet-cleaning rate (tt’s $75 for the Yacht Club) and there’s a limit of two dogs per room. According to the Disney Parks Blog, each guest room, “will have easy access to outdoor pet walkways for exercise and green spaces with pet relief areas.”

If you’ve ever checked into a Disney World resort, you know that the service is ?, so now imagine that kind of attention to detail for your dog. When you check in, each doggo will receive a “Pluto’s Welcome Kit” which includes “mat, bowls, a pet ID tag, courtesy plastic disposable bags, puppy pads and dog walking maps.” You’ll also get a special Do Not Disturb sign to indicate that there is a pet in the room.

Disney just asks that every dog who checks in for a vacation is vaccinated, stays leashed in public areas, and is well behaved. It’s a good thing that all dogs going to Disney World are good dogs ?.
