Disney World wants you to take this secret menu nacho challenge

Even without its secrets, Magic Kingdom in Disney World is a pretty magical place — and that’s probably why they call it “The Most Magical Place On Earth.” But the hidden mysteries of Magic Kingdom definitely add to its allure. Like, right now, there’s a secret food challenge at Disney World that Disney fanatics who love food and friendly competition should definitely know about. And if you order this secret menu item at Magic Kingdom’s restaurant, you’re going to need plenty of friends to help you chow down.

As Disney Food Blog reported, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Magic Kingdom has a secret menu item called the Nachos Rio Grande. Since it doesn’t appear on the menu, you have to be in the know — and you have to arrive between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. if you want to order it. But if you love a heaping plate of epic nachos, then these time restrictions won’t stop you.

Pecos Bill’s is located in the back of Frontierland and is typically a quick-service restaurant. But that changes when you order the Nachos Rio Grande. Sure, it’s $90, but it also feeds six to eight (or more!) people and based on Disney Food Blog’s video, it will also make you feel like Disney World royalty — if that royalty swapped out a castle for an Old West saloon.

Along with cast members serving you unlimited drinks, the staff will escort the giant plate of nachos — in a covered wagon! — parade style, complete with cowbells, to your VIP table. And like we said, you’ll need a serious crew of people to help you eat them since YouTube user Ray Bobrowiecki tried it out and noted that there is a whopping 10 pounds of meat on these nachos.

Once you do complete the Nachos Rio Grande challenge, the cast members at Pecos Bill’s will present everyone in your party with a certificate and well-earned cowboy hats and sheriff badges showing that you are the boss of nachos.

Since this is a secret menu item at Disney World, there’s no telling how long it will last, meaning you may want to try it out during your next group trip to Magic Kingdom. We just don’t recommend riding Splash Mountain, which is located right next to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, immediately after conquering the Nachos Rio Grande. Sure, the nachos may be named after a river, but you’ll probably want to avoid water rides in the aftermath.
