Get your frying pans ready, Disney’s “Tangled” series has a premiere date
Remember when we told you that Tangled was becoming a Disney Channel television series AND Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi were reprising their roles as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert? Well, get excited because we finally have a premiere date for the series and the Disney Channel Original Movie preceding the series.
Tangled: the Series will begin airing on Disney Channel on March 24th.
In addition to Moore and Levi, the cast includes Eden Espinosa, as Cassandra, Rapunzel’s lady in waiting and Julie Bowen, and Clancy Brown, as Rapunzel’s parents.

Of what’s to come in the new series, Moore explained:
"Songs and adventure and everything in between. I feel like you get to know mom and dad a whole lot better, because family is important."
As for Flynn leaving the thieving behind to live life as Eugene, Levi said, “Flynn is now Eugene, but he’s also still kinda Flynn, isn’t he?” Oh well, Flynn. It’s about progress, not perfection.
Before we see Tangled: the Series the show will have a lead-in Disney Channel Original Movie, Tangled Before Ever After airing on March 10th. The DCOM will mark the first time a Disney Channel has ever used a movie as a lead-in to a series. The promo for Tangled Before Ever After shows us what happens when Rapunzel’s hair mysteriously becomes long and golden again.

In addition to some serious star power leading the series, the recurring cast includes celebs including Jeffrey Tambor, Sean Hayes, Jeremy Jordan, Jeff Ross, Richard Kind, Paul F. Tompkins, Jonathan Banks, Pat Carroll, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje!!
