*All* the Disney Princesses are in “Wreck-It Ralph 2” — and no, this is not a drill

What if I told you that there’s a brand new Disney Princess movie coming out, and it’s all about Princess Vanellope Von Schweetz — she is technically a princess, remember. And since Disney Princesses are always better in numbers, when Wreck-It Ralph 2 hits theaters later this year, Vanellope is going to find herself in presence of Belle, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, Mulan…all of them.

This is not a drill. For the first time ever, Disney is bringing all their princesses together for one movie. The movie just happens to be Ralph Breaks the Internet.

During the Disney Studios and Pixar Animation panel at D23 — Disney’s bi-annually giant convention — John Lasseter was on hand to introduce the upcoming animated movies, one of which happens to be the sequel to 2012 beloved Ralph. The originally voice cast is returning, and Sarah Silverman (who voices Vanellope) introduced the audience to a sneak peek clip.

In it, Vanellope and Ralph are joined by a new character, Yesss (? voiced by Taraji P. Henson ?), an algorithm who takes them around the world wide web. Yesss takes Vanellope and Ralph to a website where so many different characters and fandoms come together — OhMyDisney.com.

TBH, when this clip played at D23, I assumed that this was just a giant in-joke and semi-plug for the Disney-owned website. But no, this is real. And this is really a scene in Ralph 2. Yesss takes Vanellope and Ralph to OhMyDisney.com, and that’s where Vanellope comes across the princesses for the first time.

Vanellope wants to mess with the princesses, Ralph advises against it. Vanellope does it anyway, and finds herself face to face with Disney royalty.

At first the princesses are ready to fight Vanellope, who they believe is infringing on their turf. However, after explaining who she is, and that she’s a princess too, they welcome her with open arms. Detailing the full scene will completely spoil just how GREAT it is, and rest assured that it is nothing short of ?. Even better, many of the original voice actors are returning to their iconic roles including [deep breath]: Auli‘i Cravalho as Moana, Kristen Bell as Anna, Kelly MacDonald as Merida, Mandy Moore as Rapunzel, Anika Noni Rose as Tiana, Irene Bedard as Pocahontas, Linda Larkin as Jasmine, Paige O’Hara as Belle, and Jodi Benson as Ariel.

Nine princesses all in the same movie — TBH, this is a dream come true ?. And we haven’t even talked about how C3-PO is there, too!! But, let’s save that story for another day.

Mark your calendars, Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet hits theaters on November 21st, 2018.
