Disney Princess-inspired lipsticks are a thing

Know what you need in your life that you probably didn’t realize you need in your life until right now? Disney princess lipstick. And not like, the kind of lipstick you find in those cute packages that also come with a charm bracelet and glitter tattoos. No, ma’am. I’m talking real, totally-adult, and absolutely awesome Disney lipstick that is, well, basically a dream come true.

The fairy godmother behind this lipstick is LA Splash Cosmetics. They’ve just launched a line lipstick featuring 12 different shades all inspired by our favorite Disney princesses and heroines.

While the princess names and their corresponding colors are easy to pick out (obviously), Esmeralda from Hunchback of Notre Dame is also in the mix, with a bold shade of purple; we’ve also got Faline who is the doe from Bambi with a deep plum; also Duchess, who is the mom cat from the Aristocats with a beautiful red; and finally Lady, the titular Lady from Lady and the Tramp, with a burgundy hue.

And the Evil Queen. How’d she get in here? Well, she can stay, because her deep red hue, like an over-ripened apple, is perfect.

Also all these liquid “lip lusters” (so fancy) are waterproof, so go ahead and bite into that apple. Your lipstick will be fine.

Where can you snag these colors for your next royal ball/magic carpet ride/tea party? All the colors are available online at LA Splash (for $14), but be warned, a few of them are already sold out. They’re bippity boppity gone. Don’t worry, they’ll be back in stock eventually… but just maybe not before you’re carriage turns back into a pumpkin.
