This house was transformed into a jaw-dropping Disney light show
It’s that time of year when Halloween fanatics are stepping up their game and decorating their houses with cobwebs, neon-lit skeletons and various displays of ghoulish delight. But one household just took Halloween decorations to the next level, with a Disney-Villain-themed light show of epic proportions.
Tom BetGeorge, of Tracy, California, has rigged up his house with over 70,000 Halloween-themed LED lights that dance and appear to sing along to the greatest hits of Disney’s most evil. BetGoerge, a church music director, constructed the display himself. He even coordinated with a local radio station to play his list of Disney songs (“Be Prepared” from The Lion King, “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid, and “Gaston” from Beauty and the Beast) at specific times so locals can watch the light show and tune into the music from their cars.
The light show isn’t all just for fun, either. On Halloween, if you stop by the house, he’ll be raising money for a local organization, the McHenry Mansion, which helps homeless families become self-sufficient. Amazing work.
If you can’t make it out on to Tracy, California (south of Sacramento), BetGeorge has your back. He created an awesome YouTube video of the show, complete with a Disney-approved playlist. Enjoy, but be prepared to have all of these songs stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
