Disney is opening a new restaurant that looks straight out of a “Great Gatsby” dream
Disney is currently in the process of remodeling and reviving Downtown Disney Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. If you haven’t visited the shopping and dining location in a little while, oh boy, you are in for an exciting new treat. While many thing have remained the same, SO many more things have changed, and Disney’s about to open up a brand new addition: The Edison, a new restaurant that looks like it was created in a Great Gatsby fever dream.
Situated right in the middle of Disney Springs on The Landing, The Edison is described as an “industrial gothic-style hotspot” that was “designed to look like a 1920s electric company.” So, like, if Gatsby actually went to work instead of just throwing giant parties and staring at his green light across the water. But actually, this location will be like a giant Gatsby party, as the restaurant will feature “contortionists, aerialists, live cabaret, DJs and more” — so you can actually get your dinner and a party. (Also, FYI: While during the day there’s no age restriction, at 10:00 p.m. sharp each night, The Edison will become a 21+ destination.)
If you’re still not convinced that The Edison is going to become the go-to spot at Disney World, you need to see what it looks like on the inside.

The Edison is currently in its soft opening right now, with a grand opening scheduled for later in January. You can start trying to snag a reservation right here, and get ready to party like it’s 1922.
