ICYMI, Even Stevens’ Alan Twitty and Pixel Perfect’s Samantha are married IRL, and give them a Disney Channel show

If you say you didn’t spend a chunk of your childhood shipping Disney Channel stars together, then we can only assume that you’re lying. As OG Disney Channel fans, we can vividly remember playing numerous games of MASH to predict our favorite couples’ future.

While the likes of Hilary Duff and Aaron Carter, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas eventually called it quits (we’re still heartbroken, TBH), we’re so glad to find out there are two Disney Channel alums who made it.

ICYMI: Disney Channel’s A.J. Trauth and Leah Pieps are currently living happily ever after as a married couple.

But since we’re all grown up now, you may have a hard time recalling them, so here’s a quick refresher for you: A.J. Trauth starred in Even Stevens as Alan Twitty, Shia LaBeouf’s goofy (not to mention, super cute) BFF. And Leah Pipes starred in Disney Channel Original Movie Pixel Perfect, alongside Ricky Ullman. She is now a recurring character in The CW’s The Originals.

While the two didn’t get the chance to work with one another on a project (maybe there’s still hope??), the magic of Disney Channel touched them and brought them together. And we couldn’t be happier for them.

As BuzzFeed, which unearthed the news, pointed out, the now-married couple became friends when they were teens, but it wasn’t until 2011 that their relationship turned to romance. Two and a half years later, A.J. went down on one knee, and the couple got engaged on Christmas Day of 2013.

Fast forward to December 6th, 2014, A.J. and Leah finally exchanged vows and started their happily ever after.

As if these photos aren’t enough to make you cry, here’s some cute A.J. and Leah trivia: A.J. was *super close* to playing Leah’s love interest in Pixel Perfect. And while he didn’t get to play her on-screen boyfriend, he did get to marry her IRL, so who’s the real winner here?
