Disclosure’s latest song is your new summer JAM

Oh, summer: The season of hot days, warm nights, and driving with the windows down while blasting those summer jams. While we don’t all have the warm weather sitch on lock just yet, British producers and brothers Disclosure, (of the infinitely catchy Sam Smith-featuring “Latch,”) have dropped a new song called “Bang That,” and we’re definitely adding this to our “Blast this on the summer road” playlist.

Though “Latch” took over U.S. radio only last year, the brothers haven’t released any truly new tunes since their 2013 debut, Settle. Since then, they’ve become a fixture for EDM listeners and the EDM tour circuit. The re-release of “Latch,” with Mary J. Blige on the vocals, continued expanding their audience. Their new track “Bang That” stays firmly in the hard dance genre and it is going on all of our playlists NOW.

The song premiered on DJ Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show Friday, and we can’t stop grooving to it. Most of that has to do with its killer beat, which seems tailor made for blasting en route to the beach or for an impromptu dance break. The rest of it has to do with the sampled vocals, which sound like grown up Bop It instructions.

Turn your volume up, hook in your speakers; do whatever you have to do to get the most out of their new tune. According to Disclosure, this isn’t even going to be a single from their new album; we can’t wait to hear what else they’ve got in store for listeners!
