Diplo apologized to Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas for “ruining” their wedding, and LOL
We weren’t the only ones who were shocked that Diplo live-streamed the intimate May 1st Las Vegas wedding of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas. The married couple was reportedly just as stunned as we were. After rumors of a live stream-induced “feud” between the DJ and the JoBros circulated the internet, Diplo finally apologized in an emotional (and hilarious) music video for his song “Lonely,” which went live on September 26th.
In the video, Diplo sends a heartfelt text to Joe in which he sincerely apologizes for his error. He writes, “hey joe.. sorry for live streaming the most important day of your life that u intended to keep private. hope we can move past this.” Tragic.
Throughout the video, he continues to text each of the JoBros in an unsuccessful attempt to offer an olive branch. It’s heartbreaking to watch our favorite cowboy DJ try to exist without his best friends. If you don’t tear up at Diplo’s “I miss my brothers” text, are you even human?
It should be noted that both the song “Lonely” and its music video star the Jonas Brothers. So, it appears that the only beef that remains between Diplo and the JoBros is the sizzling steak on grill in the music video.
Of course, the feud was all just a joke from the get-go. The fake fight started back in mid-May when Joe Jonas told Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp that Diplo “ruined” his wedding by live-streaming it on his Instagram Stories.
"He did ruin it," Joe said, per Harper's Bazaar. "I love Diplo, but he loves his 'gram more than a 13 year old. He, like, posts every five seconds. He literally livestreamed with dog face filters."
Diplo responded very maturely by posting an Instagram with the caption, “the only thing that ‘ruined’ the wedding was your fit.” Burn.

Jonas later told Kemp that he and Turner weren’t actually mad at their pal.
“We just laughed,” Joe said. “We loved it. We thought it was ridiculous. I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he’s like, ‘Gonna hit this wedding real quick.’”
Although the video leaves us on a cliffhanger, we hope that the friends finally made peace once Diplo was able to charge his phone. We don’t want to live in a world where tension exists between Diplo and the Jonas Brothers. It’s just not right.
