Demi Lovato said FU to Photoshop with *another* unedited bikini pic
Update, September 16th, 9:55 a.m.: Demi Lovato is really committing to facing her fear of sharing her authentic, un-retouched self on social media. On September 15th, Lovato posted another unedited bikini photo to her Instagram, and her energy is straight fire. “No photoshop pls & thank u,” she captioned the post.
Lovato’s neon green-trimmed bikini perfectly matches her new dip-dyed hair, and she’s again rocking some leopard print.
“Y’all know my thing for leopard print bikinis and now of course lime green,” she wrote, calling the swimsuit her “new favorite bikini.”

We love it and we love Demi!
Original story, September 6th: Demi Lovato is baring all on Instagram—for a good reason. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer posted an unedited bikini pic to Instagram on September 5th in order to face her fears of showing her cellulite on social media. And like Lovato said, the photo and message behind it are both “celluLIT.”
"This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited," Lovato wrote in the caption of her photo. "And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!! I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited — and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me. This is what I got."
As Lovato steps into this new chapter of her life, she said that she wants to be “authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards.”
Learning to love what you have is truly the key to happiness, Demi explains.
“So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day,” she wrote in the caption. “Anyway, here’s me, RAW, REAL! And I love me. And you should love you too!”

Lovato shared that, since returning home from a rehab program, she’s really beginning to take care of herself both mentally and physically. She bought herself a real birthday cake, she’s cut down on her “strenuous workout schedule,” and she’s back in the studio working on “an anthem.” Thank goodness.
“Just so everyone’s clear…I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do,” Lovato added. “I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too.”
It’s not the first time we’ve spotted the “celluLIT” hashtag on Instagram. Model Iskra Lawrence used the body-positive tag to encourage other women to share their un-retouched swimsuit photos.
Learning to love one’s body is a process, and for the most part, we’re all on that journey together. So, let’s be honest, open, confident, raw, and more than willing to learn how to appreciate what we have, just as Lovato is.
Show off those bikinis, people. We want #celluLIT to keep going viral.
