Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are publicly gushing over each other’s music, and we’re squealing
We love it when ladies support each other. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are showing their love for each other via social media and all is well with the world. In a recent post on Twitter, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer sent out her love and support for her old bestie Selena. Demi’s tweet has us shook with nostalgia and hope that the two have finally buried whatever old hatchet lies between them.
Demi tweeted Selena to let her know just how much she loves her new song “Fetish.“
And Selena responded with equally sweet words about Demi’s latest single.
Yes we have 😊 -just listening to Sorry Not Sorry! You slay as always. So happy for you!

The message has everyone pretty pumped about their friendship, especially since the two have had relationship ups and downs. But honestly, what lifelong friendships haven’t?
The former Disney stars became best friends as kids while on Barney & Friends, and for awhile did everything together. They created their own YouTube series, starred in Princess Protection Program together, and even ditched a premiere party to crash a random high school prom. Post-Disney, however, they appeared to part ways, with Demi giving Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen a veiled “people grow apart.” But we’re loving the ladies’ new lease on their friendship. Last month, Demi used Selena’s lyrics in an Instagram post, which fans interpreted as a shout-out to Selena.
Female friendships that last the highs and lows of life are the real deal.
