Demi Lovato knocked her boxing trainer’s tooth out, and when is this badass chick’s first fight?

Demi Lovato is a powerhouse singer and top-charting pop star, but she’s also got a side hustle as a fighter. Lovato is an avid boxer and a big fan of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but yesterday, March 5th, the singer took her enthusiasm for fighting to a whole new level. During a boxing session with her trainer Jay Glazer at Unbreakable Performance, a fancy fighting gym in Hollywood, Lovato’s sparring skills were so on point that she knocked her trainer’s tooth out even though he was wearing a mouth guard.

“Holy shit, I literally knocked [Glazer's] tooth out during training this morning—while he was wearing a mouth piece!!!!" Lovato wrote on Instagram. "Sorry (not sorry) Jay!!! So coach, when’s my first fight?!"

She also shared a video of Glazer ringing the bell to announce to the whole gym that Lovato knocked his tooth out. Lovato seemed deeply apologetic in the video and Glazer even took to Instagram later to announce that his tooth is fine. Well, sort of.

"Driving to a meeting right now and I know you’re all concerned about my tooth, especially you Demi! I Krazy-Glued it back in. All good! he said in an Instagram Story.

The singer is a regular fixture at the gym and is even a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a sport she calls “meditative.”

"When you’re rolling with somebody, you’re constantly thinking of defending or attacking moves, so it’s kind of meditative in a way," she told PopSugar in 2017.

Unfortunately, Glazer’s tooth was the casualty here, but we’re happy to see Lovato so healthy, confident, and strong.
