Demi Lovato’s sultry new song “Body Say” officially means it’s summer

Who says there has to be only one song of the summer? With all this amazing music coming our way, we say: the more the merrier, especially if it involves Demi Lovato. The singer dropped her newest song, “Body Say,” overnight, and just like that, July became a lot more awesome.

Demi began teasing the song Thursday night over on her Instagram, posting breathtaking photos and captioning them with the lyrics.

At midnight, the 23-year-old posted her final photo, announcing that “Body Say” was officially available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play.

“Body Say” might just be Demi’s most sultry song yet, beginning with lyrics like, “If I had it my way, I would take you down / If I had it my way, I would turn you out / And if my body had a say, I would come again / Scared of what I might say, cause I’m at the edge.”

The song’s release is so sudden because, as Demi explained on Twitter, she didn’t feel like waiting after writing and recording the hit just a few weeks ago. We definitely wouldn’t have wanted to wait any longer either, because now we can’t stop thinking about blasting this song as we drive with the windows down or on the beach as we soak in that summer sun.
