Demi Lovato Posted the Hidden Pictures from the Moment She Got Engaged
She's so happy, which makes us so happy.
Demi Lovato seems so happy about entering a new chapter of her life with fiance Max Ehrich by her side. Lovato posted a few behind-the-scenes moments from their engagement on Instagram, and “sweet” doesn’t even begin to describe the moment.
“Today is my miracle day,” Lovato wrote in a July 24th text post, which she shared to Instagram that same day. She’s referring to the day the doctors at Cedar’s Sinai saved her life after an overdose, which occurred two years ago on the date. It makes the timing of her engagement so much more meaningful. She posted it alongside a video of herself, eyes closed, riding next to Ehrich in the car to which she now knows was the proposal site.
“Long before I had an engagement ring on my finger, I had the word ‘me’ to remind myself that no matter what, I vow to love myself,” Lovato wrote.
“You can’t fully love another without loving yourself first,” she added We need more hands so we can snap even harder at that sentiment.
She then shared a few photos secretly taken by photographer friend Angelo Kritikos—who was hidden behind some rocks a few yards away during the proposal. Kritikos also took photos after Ehrich proposed (including that shot of Lovato’s gorgeous and massive ring).
“Best night of my life… still soaking it all up.. I love you baby,” Lovato captioned the July 26th post.
Ehrich shared the same photo set with the caption, “‘Crash Into Me’ by @davematthewsband was playin ❤️ still floating ☁️ love you more each and every second @ddlovato.”
According to a timeline on Insider, the couple started dating in March of this year and have been quarantining together. They’ve been all lovey-dovey since going Instagram official, even popping up in Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s at-home “Stuck With U” music video.
Lovato announced that they got engaged on Thursday, July 23rd with pictures on Instagram.
