Demi Lovato is giving back to local communities in Kenya and it’s amazing
Demi Lovato is spending her time off in the best way possible. The singer is in Kenya helping its local communities.
Photographer Ryan Bolton posted some shots on his Instagram account recently of Demi working with the men, women, and children in the African nation.
“Demi has been working tirelessly to empower mamas in Kenya by selling rafiki necklaces that are made by the mamas on her world tour. Here’s a tender moment of the mamas thanking Demi for everything she’s done,” Ryan captioned one photo.
The “Confident” singer, who recently revealed she’s taking a break from the spotlight, is a celebrity ambassador for the WE Movement, an organization focused on uniting people to change the world.
One of the WE Movement’s many focuses is to build schools for children in Kenya and provide them with the tools they need to succeed.
Demi shared some photos of her own to her social media. One of our favorites shows her bonding with young women in a Kenyan school.

The 24-year-old has always been outspoken about female empowerment, so this display of her kindness isn’t surprising at all. We love!
