Demi Lovato just covered an Adele song and we can die happy now
There’s no denying that Demi Lovato has killer pipes. The former Disney star can hit the high notes like Mariah Carey, while also putting on a great show. Lovato’s angelic voice was on full display Friday night when she covered Adele’s “When We Were Young.”
You’re going to need a box of tissues and waterproof mascara after hearing Demi’s cover.

During her concert in Cleveland at her Future Now tour with Nick Jonas, the “Confident” singer showed off her incredible singing talents.
The former Disney star sizzled in a skintight white bodysuit and nude knee–high boots. But her performance stole the show on Friday night. Her voice captured the song’s emotional gravitas and she hit every note perfectly.

It’s easy to cover a fun, upbeat song from your favorite artist, but it’s extremely bold to take on an Adele track. Everyone knows the 28–year–old artist is on her own level, and anyone who tries to cover her hit tunes usually fails. But on Friday night, Lovato blew the crowd away.
The “Cool for the Summer” hitmaker sang a beautiful rendition of “When We Were Young,” a passionate song from Adele’s latest record–breaking album 25. Lovato should’ve warned her fans beforehand because her powerful performance hits you with a range of emotions.
Adele would be so proud.
It looks like Lovato has been working on new music. She tweeted that she was heading into the studio and couldn’t wait for her fans to hear her latest tracks. Just by reading her tweets, you get a sense that her next album is going to be better than ever.
