Drake showed up for a ‘Degrassi’ reunion and it was the BEST

Attention: There was just a Degrassi class of 2006 reunion and we all missed it. But thankfully, the pictures made their way online showing some of Degrassi‘s finest back together again. We’ve got Lauren Collins, who played the popular Paige Michalchuk; Daniel Clark who played bad boy Sean Cameron; Adamo Ruggiero who played out and proud Marco Del Rossi; Jake Goldsbie who played the nerdy Toby Isaacs; and then Aubrey Graham who played sports superstar Jimmy. But you might know Graham better by his current moniker, Drake.

Yes, Drake. Our Drake started off playing Jimmy on Degrassi: The Next Generation, and it was AMAZING, let me tell you. Better yet, do you have time to go back and watch a hundred or so episodes of Degrassi to witness it first-hand?

The former Degrassi cast members were all back together in Toronto for a screening of new show We Are Disorderly. We Are Disorderly was actually created by two former Degrassi cast members, Mazin Elsadig (who played student council president Damian Hayes) and Al Mukadam (who played Mohammed in season 2), so it’s only fitting that a few old classmates show up.

Judging from the pictures, it looks like it was an amazing time, and this is serious Degrassi FOMO.

Degrassi‘s going to make a big move soon, when it jumps to Netflix for a set of brand new episodes. It’ll feature some new and returning faces, but can it also feature some class of 2006 faces, too? Well, technically Jimmy graduated in 2007, after the tragic Degrassi school shooting that left him paralyzed from the waist down, in what is still one of the most haunting episodes of Degrassi ever. The show’s slogan is, after all, “it goes there.”

So maybe if Drake finds some free time in his busy schedule, he and the rest of his classmates can get together for real and it’ll be one big Degrassi-on-Netflix celebration. Arrested Development did it. Fuller House is doing it. Can old school Degrassi go there, too?

‘Degrassi’ is ending and we’re crying, as told by Drake gifs

Drake has his own search engine ‘Let Me Drake That For You,’ so that’s pretty awesome
