Look, I’ll come right out and say it: I’m not the religious type. I only go to church when someone is getting married or I’ll visit a cathedral if I’m traveling (because, duh, they’re gorgeous). However, if you told me that a new religion has begun based on the Davines SOLU Sea Salt Scrub, I would convert in zero seconds flat and become a devoted follower of this deep-cleansing paste.
When I was first introduced to this product, I didn’t believe in its power—I was just testing it for the Beauty Crush Awards. I was a scalp-scrub virgin, and during my shower routine I only used drugstore shampoos and conditioners. I always have a hard time finding products that will make my curly hair feel bouncy and light. Most of the other products I use tend to weigh down my hair or dull my curls. And because I have frizzy hair and was gifted (or cursed) with enough baby hairs to cover a newborn’s head, I constantly use anti-frizz serums or tie my hair up in a lower bun just to keep my strands tamed. But when this Davines SOLU Sea Salt Scrub came into my life, it changed my curly hair (and my life) for the better.
Just using it once is like the equivalent of getting baptized: It will remove all the impurities, buildup, and sins that you have put your hair through, while making you feel like you’re visiting the coast on a warm Italian beach escape.

When I used this product for the first time, I instantly noticed how richly the scrub lathered. It completely coated my hair and gave my scalp a sans-harshness scrub. Once I was done washing my hair, I rinsed by running my fingers through my strands and (no joke) heard my hair squeak with cleanliness. With this scrub, you don’t need to wash your hair twice; it does the job right the first time.
Now that I’ve been using the Davines SOLU Sea Salt Scrub for a few months, I notice the difference when I don’t add it to my shower regimen. I substitute my shampoo with this product just once or twice a week, and my curly hair has more volume, feels incredibly soft, and dries with a beachy texture that would make any Baywatch babe jealous.
