David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown shared the sweetest “father-daughter” moment during the Golden Globes
One of the greatest things about Stranger Things Season 2 (besides all of it) was the newfound relationship between Chief Hopper and Eleven — because Hopper took Eleven in and (spoiler alert) eventually adopted her. Season 2 was basically all about Hopper and Eleven’s father-daughter relationship. At the 2018 Golden Globes, David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown were snapped in a sweet embrace that an onlooker posted to social media and called a “father/daughter moment.” And we have to agree.
Debra Birnbaum, an Executive Editor at Variety, was at the awards show when she saw the two Netflix stars have a sweet moment. So far her tweet has been met with all sorts of heart-eye emoji responses, you know, as it should.
Later in the night Harbour lost in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television category and shared his “loser” selfie on Instagram. We wonder if his embrace with Brown was a little pre-show pep talk? (“Listen, Millie, no matter if I win or lose, I’m posting a selfie. Do you have any ideas on what I should do in it?”)
In case you were looking for more reasons to crush on this man — he’s also the affable ally we need right now. Harbour told Good Morning America on the red carpet that the time is up “on women not getting the respect they deserve in the workplace,” and we’ll cheers to that.

While the actor may have left the awards show a loser in the technical sense, this photo of Harbour and Brown is the clear winner of the night.
