David Bowie was just honored by wife Iman on what would have been their 25th anniversary
On what would have been the all-star couple’s 25th wedding anniversary, Iman honored David Bowie, her late husband, with a sweet social media tribute. Posting an old photo of the couple to Instagram — in it, Bowie kisses Iman’s forehead while she places her left hand on his shoulder. She paired it with the words, “I would walk forever, just to be in your arms again.”
Cue the tears, because this is breaking our hearts all over again.
Bowie, the legendary musician, and supermodel Iman tied the knot in Tuscany, Italy after two years of dating. The pair were “inseparable,” according to a friend of the couple, until David Bowie’s death in January 2016.

Iman remained out of the spotlight for some time after her husband’s death, which was closely followed by the death of her mother, Maryan Baadi. In September 2016, though, she told Good Morning America, “It’s just been a tough year, but I’m holding up.” She also revealed that she plans to forever wear a gold necklace by Heidi Slimane that reads, simply, “David.”
David Bowie died at age 69 after an 18-month battle with cancer, shocking fans the world over. The incomparable musician had just released an album, titled Blackstar, about a week before his death.
On what would have been his 70th birthday, an EP of unreleased music, No Plan, was released to rave reviews, along with a video for the title track.
