Come July 23rd, Issa Dee (Issa Rae‘s character) is back, and this time she’s on the market. Though, it’s clear she’s still kinda, sorta, definitely still into her former flame Lawrence. She’s also taking a stab at sexting and having some real awkward make out sessions. Not to mention, it seems like her crush Daniel is still in the picture.

Molly, meanwhile, is dealing with the discovery that her white male colleague is earning much more than her, so the show continues to tackle the challenges black women can face at work, at home and within society. false

Oh, and P.S. if you’re still reeling from the gobsmacking season finale, Insecure‘s creator Issa Rae is so, so pleased. She’s also not making an promises that she won’t continue to nail you to the floor with emotions.
