Fact: Daniel Radcliffe and his girlfriend are karaoke wizards

Daniel Radcliffe has many surprising tricks up his sleeve, and we were just treated to another one: he’s amazing at karaoke. This isn’t lip synching. I mean, Radcliffe is probably pretty great at lip synching. But this is actually him, The Boy Who Lived, singing out loud every single word of a song. And not just any song, either, but Eminem’s “Real Slim Shady,” which he belted out at a bar when he got up on stage for karaoke.

Radcliffe’s not alone on stage—he has his girlfriend, actress Erin Darke, at his side. Radcliffe sings/raps the song, while Darke covers the chorus with ease. Going to assume that these two have practiced this song before, seeing as how they seamlessly slip into each and every verse. Darke also busts out some karaoke dance moves, with lots of fist pumping into the air, swaying hips, and of course, jumping.

While I’m no expert Eminem lyricist, I’m going to assume Radcliffe nails all the words. This is also not the first time he’s shown us his impressive rapping, either. Last year he treated us to a performance of “Alphabet Aerobics” on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and before he started the song, he actually told Fallon that he was the “first kid in [his] class to learn all the words to ‘Slim Shady.’” Clearly, Radcliffe has been practicing this for a while, waiting for just the perfect time to demonstrate his mad skills.

So while we don’t think he should become a receptionist anytime soon, Radcliffe could conceivably have a long karaoke career ahead of him. Check out the full video below.
