“Dancing with the Stars” is taking the “Master Chef” route and doing a ~junior~ spinoff
For what feels like forever, Dancing with the Stars has tangoed and waltzed into our hearts. Now, there will be an even cuter way to enjoy our favorite dancing duos. ABC announced a Dancing with the Stars spinoff, starring kids. That’s right, after being outdone by dancing adults, we’re about to be shown up by the dancing skills of children. And WE. CAN’T. WAIT!
As with other reality shows that reimagined themselves with kids as the stars, like Master Chef Junior, Dancing with the Stars Junior promises to be even more adorable than the original DWTS.
Dancing with the Stars Junior will pair kids with professional junior ballroom dancers.
Yeah, so we bet those kids will be amazing. Variety reports that the show will feature famous kids and kids of celebrities. Yeah, we’re crossing our fingers that North West will be a contestant.
And we know from last season that contestants under 18 can be amazing.
16-year-old Laurie Hernandez of Olympic Gold Medal fame took home the prize last season. And we can’t wait to see the talented kids even younger than her.
Regardless, we can’t wait for this show. ABC plans to debut the series in the spring of 2018. They haven’t announced the cast or judges yet, but we sure they’ll all be amazing. Although we can’t believe we have to wait a whole year to see it!
